This is the home of Rachel Ward's 4-H                                                  project.  We are located in Placerville,                                               CA.  Our ranch is in the Sierra Nevada                                                foothills, just east of Sacramento.                                                Nigerian Dwarf goats are miniature                                                dairy goats, which originated in West                                                Africa.  Their milk can be used to                                                make soap, cheese, ice cream, lotion,                                                etc.   Last updated 9/28/2008      Rachel started out in 2002 with just two goats.                                                 She has increased her herd to as many as 18                                                 at one time, and currently has eight.
