(This is just general information that we have found works for our goats.  These guidelines are
not meant to take the place of your veterinarian's advice.  Please check with your veterinatian if
you have any questions.)
Pregnant Does
(shots & worming)
1 month before due date
Give Doe CD&T shot - 2 cc (SQ - under skin)
Give Doe BoSe shot - 1 cc (SQ - under skin)
Day after delivery
Worm Doe - Use Ivermectin paste
10 - 12 Days after birth
Worm Doe agian
Baby Kids
(shots,worming,wethering,disbudding)
2 - 3 weeks old
Check horn buds and disbud (bucks get disbudded
around 2 weeks, does around 3 weeks)
3 weeks old
Start administering Sulmet or Albon for 5 days (use dropper
and administer orally) - 1st day, 2 ml/cc.  2nd - 5th day, 1
ml/cc (
We have been using a solution called Di-Methox
40% solution.  Even though it's an injectable, it can be
given orally.  At three weeks of age, !/2 cc is administered
2x daily for the 1st week.  Then 1/2 cc given once a week
until kids are weaned.  We have had no more problems w/
coccidia.

Start checking hooves for trimming
6 weeks old
Administer Sulmet or Albon for 5 days - 1st day, 2 ml/cc
                                2nd - 5th day, 1 ml/cc
2 months old
Worm babies - Use Ivermectin paste
Re-wrom 10 - 12 days later
If wethering bucks, wether now
Give kids CD&T shot - 2 cc (SQ - under skin)
9 weeks old
Administer Sulmet or Albon for 5 days - 1st day, 2 ml/cc
                                 2nd - 5th day, 1 ml/cc
Check hooves for trimming
4 months old
Give CD&T shot - 2 cc (SQ - under skin)
Check hooves for trimming
6 months old
Give CD&T shot - 2 cc (SQ - under skin)
Check hooves for trimming
Adult Goats
(shots & worming)
Annually
Give CD&T shot - 2 cc (SQ - under skin)
Worming  
        
Always worm does before breeding.

At least twice a year.  Can worm 3 - 4 times a year.  If           
worming 4 times a year:  March (use Ivermectin), June          
(use Safe Guard), September (use Ivermectin),                    
December (use Safe Guard).  If worming three times a year,
March (use Ivermectin), July (use Safe Guard), November
(use Ivermectin).  
NOTE:  Ivermectin Plus (injectable) can
be used orally.  Administer 2ml/2cc.  I do not recommend
for kids under 1 yr.

Always worm kids at 2 months, using Ivermectin paste,
than follow above schedule, even if one month later
Hoof Trimming
Trim hooves every 6 - 8 weeks
